A good night’s sleep until about 6:00, then showers and breakfast and a day off. I know it might seem silly to take a day off just before our last day to the ocean, but we're beat.
The day was simple: blogging, reading, groceries and watching the rain. We walked across the freeway to the little strip mall, did some window shopping and picked up some groceries at Marketfresh.
There was a terrific downpour this afternoon. The rain came down in sheets, filling the gutters and spewing out over the edges. It shot out the bottom of the downspouts and was accompanied by the usual thunder and lightning.
