New Format

Well, after changing the format, I'm not having any trouble with the "disappearing act" of the text. If you still do, please let me know. I've also changed the color of the text in the post, hoping that will make it easier to read.

It's been snowing again all morning, so we have another 2-3" (I just got the deck cleared off - again - yesterday and started on the 15-18" that had piled up there. We have a forecast of 60-70 for this weekend, so maybe it will ALL go away!

Friends are thinking of biking in Yellowstone this weekend, but we'll probably play it safe with the ankle and pass on that (as tempting as it is!).

We've been working quite a bit on the fundraising aspect lately, and I think we have that covered, so whatever the Lord does with that is totally up to Him. We can now get back to some other necessities of planning, like getting our jerseys printed, and further route planning.

Re: route planning. The more time I spend on it, the more I'm leaning toward Gerry's, Kevin's and Chuck's view: head the bike east and take each day as it comes! Because each day will have its own issues, there's no real way to know where we'll be at the end of it. So it's pointless to try to plan detailed accommodations. We may think we're going one route, then end up taking something different, for whatever reason. In many ways, that's more appealing anyway - more of an adventure!

Besides continued prayer for the ankle, we're asking that you pray for spiritual protection. We've seen so many times in our life that anytime we step out in faith for God's kingdom, we experience multiplied spiritual attacks. They come in different forms for each of us; mine are usually physical.

Thanks so much to you who have encouraged us with your excitement. It means a lot to us both!

Pat
