Day 44 Day Off in Glendive, MT

July 10, 2014

Day Off

Here are some really cool blessings from the Lord today:

- I opened the curtain this morning and saw that it had rained quite nicely in the night but was clearing up.

- We are resting inside on a 92 degree day.

- Gerry and I had a good time of prayer.

- Our brother-in-law, Tom, stopped by on his way home to Bozeman from work in ND. Again, it was great to see family! We so enjoyed our time of visiting and prayer that I forgot to take a picture. :o(

- We've been praying for Julie (from Heritage) and her checkup in Houston. Her email today told us that the CT scan showed no cancer!

- The Glendive Dinosaur and Fossil Museum is right across the street from us, so we walked over. It is "the largest dinosaur and fossil museum set in the context of Biblical history." It's a very nice museum and we were impressed.

(I still can't believe we went to another museum. Oh, where are the roller coasters and water parks?)

We prayed over my leg this morning and I've been icing it off and on throughout the day. It's still sore and a bit swollen. If nothing else, I now can fully empathize with what Gerry rode with a couple weeks ago.

Tomorrow's ride will be to Miles City. An infrequent (for here) NE wind is forecast, so should help us along.

Your prayer for our protection, our strength, our aches, and our hearts is appreciated so much. Thank you.

Less than 400 miles,
Pat
