Getting Ready to Go

We've spent the past couple days recouping, laundering, paying bills, seeing friends and family, and getting "summer" haircuts. I do believe this is the shortest I've ever worn my hair. But it will be great to eliminate "helmet hair" each day, and it needs to last until the middle of August. It will grow pretty fast due to all the exercise we're getting. Gerry loves how easy his is, but I told him he's going to have to sunscreen his head now so he doesn't get tan spots from his helmet vents!

We are watching the weather and it looks like we should be able to leave in the morning. We're hoping that eastern Montana will continue in its typical pattern of warm and dry as we head that way.

Thanks again to all of you who are praying, who are supporting the school through this, who are encouraging us with phone calls, hugs, "treat" money and gifts. I've heard many people over the years say, "We couldn't do ______ without your prayer and support." We know exactly what they mean.

Don't forget to check out the "Outside Montana" link at the right for our daily status when we're not able to blog.

Looking down the road,

Gerry and Pat
