The Most Important Thing First

"For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, Your eyes saw my unformed body."
Psalm 139: 12-16a

"Children's children are a crown to the aged..."
Proverbs 17:6a

On Sunday, June 1, at Rock Creek (7:23 p.m. to be exact! and, yes, I can remember where I was standing [right in the middle of the room because that's the only spot that we could get phone service] and what I was wearing!) we received the exciting word that we will be grandparents in December! Josh and Monica (who dropped us off to start the ride) will welcome their first baby around Christmas. We are praising God for this blessing and lifting this new life to Him for His touch and watchcare.

We are at home now for a few days, after slogging our way into the Gallatin Valley - worst weather we've encountered since we left.

Check back Thursday afternoon; I'll update with a short recap of each day and some pictures. We had a difficult time getting to a computer the last several days, so we apologize for the lapse. We think we have something figured out on how you can at least get a daily update of our location; I'll have details tomorrow.

For now, we are dry, laundered, resting, and already planning the next segments. Thanks again for your prayer - we definitely saw God's hand of protection today.

In His hand,
Gerry and Pat
