Gerry wasn’t able to sleep until after 1:00 because of his nap in the evening. But I slept all night until 7:30. I TOLD him I was tired yesterday!
We were planning to go to the library this morning, but when Gerry called to find out the hours, he found out it’s not even open on Saturdays. Hmmmm, that’s a bummer; that puts blogging back a ways.
We hung around for a while, looking at the maps and thinking through the next week. Later, we went for a walk to the downtown area. The downtown was very quiet, with a lot of empty buildings, and most of the other businesses were closed. It was very different for a city this size.
We showered, read and rested. I started getting things gathered to be ready to leave tomorrow.
Late afternoon brought a couple more downpours with lots of lightning and thunder. We were very glad to be inside and not trying to outrun it today.
A third thunderstorm came rolling through in the evening.
